Church Administrative Services

Back in the 1970s and early 1980s, the Church Office comprised only two persons, i.e. the Pastor and one administrative staff, both of whom rendered pastoral services which were pretty similar to those offered presently, except on a much smaller scale.

The number of full-time staff has since grown to meet the needs of our enlarged congregation. We now have five pastors (three ministering to the non-English congregations), nine administrative staff, and two caretakers/helpers to provide a wide range of services, including:

  • Ensuring pulpit messages and Bible teaching meet the needs of worshippers
  • Pastoral and general counselling
  • Civil marriage registration
  • Marriage and wedding assistance
  • Baptism and church membership
  • Children’s and toddlers’ dedication
  • Administrative support, e.g. booking of rooms and other facilities
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Front Desk Reception
  • Management of car parking and other logistical arrangements
  • IT system support
  • Management of finance and accounting functions
  • Bereavement assistance
